Designs

EDGE TO EDGE - Edge to Edge is a simple all over pattern such as clouds, waves, and medium to large pantographs. These designs are good choices for busy quilts that need something attractive and unobtrusive to hold them together.

EDGE TO EDGE WITH BORDER - Edge to Edge with a Border looks a bit dressier than edge to edge. I have hundreds of designs to celebrate special occasions or themes. New babies, birthdays, holidays. Pet lovers, gardeners, car fanciers, cowboys. Music, birds, frogs and even sewing notions. All pantographs are available with or without borders.

CUSTOM - Custom quilting is individual block motifs with coordinating borders and sashes. Up to six different designs on one quilt top. This option has oodles of choices for enhancing your masterpiece.

HEIRLOOMS - Heirloom quilting includes seven or more designs, extensive stitch in the ditch or multiple thread color changes.

BASTING - Basting is four stitches to an inch in a 3" to 4" grid. I also like to baste the perimeter to add a little extra stability to those stretchy edges. This stitching is very easy to remove as you go along or after you have finished lovingly hand quilting your treasure.

PIECE BACK - If you like, I'll put the back together for you. Just pre-wash the fabric and include it in your package.

HALF BINDING - Half binding your quilt includes making double fold binding from fabric you have supplied and machine stitching it to the front of the quilt, so that you can hand stitch it to the back.

FULL BINDING - Full binding includes making double fold binding from fabric you have supplied and machine stitching it to your quilt, sending her home completely finished.

HANGING SLEEVE - The hanging sleeve is sewn to the back of the quilt. It will hold a dowel for hanging on the wall. Tab-style top is another option for hanging a wall hanging.

BATTINGS - I carry Hobbs 80/20 and four types of Quilters Dream batting to choose from:

Dream Angel - Dream Angel - Dream Angel is made of fibers that are engineered to be flame retardant. The fibers are designed not to melt or flow when in contact with flame. The fibers are inherently flame retardant with no chemical additives and no PBDE's. Dream Angel has a wonderfully natural look and feel.
Dream Blend - 70% cleaned natural cotton and 30% soft fine denier poly microfibers. Strong, stable, soft and drapeable.
Dream Cotton - 100% pure USA high grade cotton. Environmentally friendly. No scrim, resins or binders.
Dream Puff - Dream Puff is a lusciously light batting with exceptional insulation and a soft resilient loft of 1/3 + inch. Dream Puff is 1.5 times warmer than down and almost twice as warm as high loft polyester battings.
